I think FB is down.. ;( Recently, I have problems loading pages in FB and now, I can't even load the login page =( Too bad.. no more photo albums for me to upload my pictures =( That's sad. I've so many waiting to be uploaded..

I'm learning smth new at work..very time consuming and I need to get used to it asap! Life's getting boring without dear ard this wk =( Went for some shopping alone just now to get new working pants and shirt ;) Not that I really like e design but I'm getting Sick of my old clothings :p haha. I still Want more ! ;D more more ! Lol

back to blogging! at last, a day off at home ! = ) and my dear is nt in Sg.. =( hmm. Exactly 1 wk ago at this time, I was in e office. yup working on Sundays too.. Dad second me to SMOE abt 2 wks ago, on 30th.. =p Work is busy as they are tryin to rush out some drawings on a big proj.

actually I feel it's quite cool working there.. =P coz juz behind our main building(offices) is Sembawang shipyard where they do all e fabrication and installing works. So after we complete our drawings, those dwgs will be sent over for them to work on. Sometimes, their supervisors will also come up to our office to clarify on connection details. =)

And my new title - Structural designer. =) frm e previous piping designer. I dint 'complain' to my Dad when he was goin to send me there. =P thou I knew it will take some time for me to get used to. and it might be more..tedious for me? -Longer working hrs and more workload. =P But I know it's still Beneficial for me coz it's goin to be a good exposure .. and a chance to understand how e structural team works =)

Till now, I'm starting to get used to my new working environment, working HOURS (from previously reaching Dad's office at 10 to now.. 8 at SMOE!), and my new in-charge and colleagues =) they are all very nice pple =D Everyth's well.

Woke up pretty early today ard 7 plus.. mayb due to my new working hrs Coz now I usually wake up ard 6:20 on workdays. Yest, abt 8 and i reached office ard 10 =P Luckily it's National Day today =) No one goes to work. and tmr too ! whee ~ PH ! 2 days for me to rest =) but dear is nt ard to 'bring' me out... =(

Guess I'll be home for these 2 days.. mayb do some household chores and catch more zzz. =P

Yest I was out with Chaihui after working till 2+. Met her pretty late ard 4 = . = And we went to SAM Singapore Arts Musuem ! =) The previous time we met, we went to Asian Civilization Museum(near Fullerton hotel). It was a relaxing afternoon spent with her.. coz museum are always quiet.. lesser pple, lesser noise.. and e place -big and spacious. And I also enjoyed looking at artworks =)

SAM is rather small.. hmm, yest we were looking at an exhibition by Wu Guan Zhong, a chinese painter. Admission was free too -part of ND celebration~ usual is 8$. =)

And after museum closed at 7, we went for drinks and some shopping =D Part of ND celeb., there were a lot of sales ! and my fav fashion boutique GG5, is having 20 percent off !

Last wk, dear accompanied me to many places to shop for work wear.. but i dint like..and some were juz too exp that i felt they dun worth dat much =P opps. ok la. mayb I too poor to afford. =P

I came up with a budget for tops.
80 and abv for a top is a definite NO NO.
60-80.. unless i really like it a lot =D
Below 40-50 is affordable and reasonable too
Less than 40 for a nice looking top ? dun need to think so much le. BUY ! haha

Anw, yest I bought a top ! whee. how it looks ? I 'll wear it next wk and mayb take a picture den u will see. haha. 难得 out of my 5 yrs of working life, I can dress like an OL ! ha. Dear gt quite high expectations on how OL should look.. dun worry dear, my new 'IMAGE' wont disappoint u. keke.

But I dun hav $$$ to buy so many new clothings.. next time then, will 'build' up a wardrobe of more formal work wear =)

I still feel like goin to shop ! The sale at GG5 is only frm now to 10 AUG !! =) There are so many pieces i like ! (after goin numerous times to zara, mango and other boutiques). GG5 is e first to come to mind when I wanna buy new clothings ! hehe. oh and e sister company 'ness' is also good !

I'm craving for KTV again ! anyone keen to go too ? keke.

hee Realised more and more pple playing tis game, e one I'm most surprised of is my bf... coz he's always complaining abt me being addicted to e game.. =p well..mayb' he's tryin to set an example by nt playin it so often as me =D ha. And T3re has also started playin! he a bit poor.. so i sent him a set of table and chairs for e 'opening' of his restaurant~ haha! xD

Restaurant City on Facebook ! =D keke. I received requests frm frens..but i was only obsessed with playin Bejeweled then.. Until Juan told me dat she's addicted to it and she taught me how to play ;) haha. Now I'm addicted too ! oh no

the game is really cute....

*close up* Notice e 'bucket and brush' symbol abv e toilet bowl? it means it's dirty and u should assign someone as cleaner to clean e mess ! =p ha

You can hire ur friends as cleaner (to clean toilets!), waiter or chef ! =) Then u oso need to collect or trade ingredients with ur friends so dat u can change ur menu ! xD And as u level up, ur restaurant will get bigger and u can oso hire more friends to help out in e restaurant =D

USA Trip / Disneyland

I think I hav to cut short my entries on USA trip =P Coz it makes me feel lazy to cont. when I'm writing so much juz on e day I went to Universal Studios.. haha.. =X

Basically for our first 3 days in L.A, our plan is juz to go to 3 Themeparks.. =x ha.. seems like there's nth much in L.A. ... =p I'm oso nt sure coz I dint do any research on places of interests. So day 1 we went to Universal Studios, day 2 -Disneyland and day 3 to Seaworld. And it's also by the same coach company -Greyline tours to bring us there =) OH. no..not to Disneyland... coz Disneyland is very very near our hotel, only a 15mins car ride =P

So we took a free shuttle service frm our hotel to Disneyland.. =)

Actually I 'm thinking of skipping the part in Disneyland.. coz I feel it's a MUST go if u've already came all e way to USA. =P You can forget abt e Disneyland in HK coz it's really small compared to e one here.. L.A's Disneyland should be e biggest one in the world? (correct me if i'm wrong..) and definitely The 'Most original' home to Mickey.. haha. =D I've heard Mickey speaking in Canto. and hearing disney songs in Japanese... so it only feels 'right' to see Mickey in USA. Lol =p

would u bear to eat this ?

Anw, e place was so big that I dint go to several parts on e map.. If I remember correctly, there are 8 or 9 different themes. HK only hav 4. and Tokyo..abt 6 i think? (cant remember le.. )

Have a walk ard.. go for all e rides ! esp the Haunted house. It's impressive =) and they also hav many exciting rides u can try. oh ya HK hav more kiddy rides. hee.

Let me talk a bit on Tokyo Disneyland.. ;p The decor in Tokyo Disneyland is probably e nicest and e CUTEST! it kept me so busy that day juz taking pictures! and I dun remember any rides coz I dint go for any. Lol. Too busy. We were busy shopping, watching shows and parades. I watched 3 different ones juz in a day !

back to USA Disneyland, sad to say.. I dint watch any parades =( coz their parades were very Very late.. ard 9+PM ? You can check their official site. And their fireworks too.. near to midnight ard 11+. = . = So I actually missed all of these.... as we went back to our hotel quite early at 7+

I wanted to stay for e fireworks..but Dad and Mum were tired.. Thou I'm tired too, but I still can ta-han. haha. =p

So if u're going.. make sure u stay till e themepark closes! hee. Mayb' go slightly ltr in e afternoon then it wont be too tiring to finish all their late-night programmes ;D

I'm at TCC (Changi Airport T3) with 2 friends. And there isn't a power plug anywhere near my seat =( so sad..having to carry my heavy Vaio laptop and to realise that I cant use it for long here..

The wireless network connection in e airport is excellent.. e ambience at TCC, even e seat is so comfortable too... BUT.

HMM.. think I will just read my book or mayb' shift to other places ltr =)

hmm, can't seem to recall wad I did on Mon.. =p So let me start frm Tuesday instead. haha =p

*decides to check e calendar in my phone*

Ah ! Now I remember..hehe. Met up with Serene and Pei on Mon.. 2 of them were SO free that day (1 had taken leave, and 1 just finished exams.. ) and poor me, went to meet them only after work. =p Rene and I brought Pei to the Chinese restaurant (Mayim - i think it should spell like tis =p ) at West Mall for dinner =) Both me and rene had tried before and like the food there. But only Ms Ho.. who's staying at walking distance to West Mall, had Nv went into e place before ~ haha. Anw, I suggested eating there coz I was craving for my fav mango pudding ! hehe. And we also need a change! (from eating sake sushi all e time..) =p

That night we had a great chat till KFC was gonna keep away the chairs and tables outside ! haha ~ but that was only abt 10+.. ok la, as long as I still hav train to get home ;P

Then on Tue, I met dear to try e famous claypot rice, juz a few blocks away frm his hse ;) Nice. But the only sad thing was..I made him angry becoz I was late for nearly an hr +++ =p *opps. supposed to be juz half an hr la, but becoz he needs to go down early to Q for e claypot rice. HMMM, and luckily..I hav my ways to make him show his Smile again. keke. ^___________^ *grinzz

Wed, Dear and I went photoshooting at Esplanade ! =) fun ! but also tiring..that night we took cab back ard 11++PM. Very late. =p I'll blog on this again after I get e pix from dear.. but that will be a wk ltr after he comes back from his trip..(leaving tonight T . T )

On Thu, I went bowling at Bukit Batok CSC with my colleagues and I did quite well(for my 'standard'). hahaha. =p nt so bad la, 4 games all hundred over.. ;) Then after e game, I walked over to West Mall to meet ww, cp, jz abd ck for a chat ;D

LALA.. and 1 wk is gone so fast.. keke. with Fri, meeting cp for a Biotherm event at Raffles City, and after that, Dear came and we went for dinner =D

Right now, I'm at Dear's place playin with comp while he's sleeping in e room.. He needs to rest for his flight ltr at night..zzz. 2 more hrs to him waking up... and uncle has juz came back too... =p lala.. I shall play Bejeweled coz I duno wad to chat with uncle.. hahaha.

KL Trip 01-03/May/09

USA Trip / Universal Studios

For the start of our tour in USA, there wasn't a personal tour guide to show us ard and pick us up at our hotel.. But e tour agent in Sg did helped us arrange our itinerary for e trip..and booked 1-day tours with e local tour company(L.A. Greyline tours), to bring us to attractions in L.A. that we wish to visit =)

We took a shuttle bus(just outside our hotel) to Greyline, where we exchanged our vouchers for tix to board e Greyline Coach to Universal Studios =) There were many pple as e coach company offers lots of 1-day tours to attractions in L.A. It's very convenient and e interesting part is, their drivers would act as e tour guide to drive u to ur destination and also 'entertain' u on e bus. They can really talk for Hours throughout e bus ride... telling u abt e places that we passed by along e way.. ;p

Universal Studios Hollywood

So after dropping us off at Universal Studios and getting our admission tix for us(making sure that all of us went in), e driver told us e timing to meet ltr in e evening, and then he went off =)

There wasn't many pple at Universal Studios that day.. and after getting e map of e place, I realised..there wasn't many rides as I was expecting either. =p

Take a look at e Parkmap of Universal Studios Hollywood

It's divided into 2 parts, the Upper Lot and e Lower Lot. and they were connected by several escalators coz e height difference was quite big.. they were 'far apart' in terms of elevations. haha. So be sure to complete e upper lot first before goin down to e lower one ;P

Althou there wasn't many rides, but this made our routes around e themepark simpler too, coz we hav a lot of time to go for e rides and shows there ;P And e first & most highly recommended one we went to was Shrek 4D. =) it's showing a short adventure of Shrek and friends trying to rescue Princess Fiona from e Dead Lord Farquaad.. a continual story after Lord Farquaad died(eaten up by e dragon) and he came back as a ghost to capture Princess Fiona.. ;]

This 4D ride was quite fun coz besides e 3D effect u see from ur 3D glasses, e seats are all 'equip' with surprises thru e ride.. u can Feel the actions ;P The seats moves(just some tilting up and down, nt v. vigorous..) and of course..experiencing water sprinkled on ur face or something tickling at ur ankles.. =p

Then e next one we went to, and also my Favourite ride at Universal Studios... is the Simpsons Ride !

The colourful set looks great and made it looked fun too.. ;D haha

The ride was fantastic !.. probably e best ride at Universal Studios ! =D

I enjoyed it so much despite all my screamings throughout e ride. haha! It has got 'roller coasters' in it, which is smth that I will NEVER try. But it only 'seemed like' a roller coaster. Not exactly one =P Cause it's all in the form of Animations for everyth that u see... =p And of course with all e 'movements' that goes together.. ;D

before e excitements starts, we were first brought into a room where we saw smth like a 'carriage'(but with no wheels..) with 4 seats in front and at e back(juz 2 rows only). Then we were told to place all our belongings(those dat could fall off during e ride) at the side of e room. At first I thot, if this 'carriage' moves, that means it goes through a track or smth, then how would we possibly get back to e same place ltr to pick up our belongings ? Hmm..

Then as e gate infront opens up, and when e lightings were all switched off into a complete darkness, I could sense that we were being Lifted up, outside of e room, above e ceiling... hehe. And e ride begins ! we were brought into another 'world' and it's all animations around us. Just like inside a big theatre and e screens are all around, surrounding us... infront, at e sides, and even looking up to e ceiling..~ It was really cool.. And so it made e whole ride seemed real.. goin up and down e roller coaster, e track that broke into half and made us plunge down onto e 'ground'.. and then being picked up by Giant BB Maggie and she 'sucked' all of us into her mouth like a pacifier...;P -moving in and out of her mouth.. ;P haha! It was totally fun !

And next before goin down to e Lower lot, we went for e Studo tours.. =D it was a very longgg tour of 1 hr and..45mins. But it was interesting looking at e movie sets and how they created those effects we seen in movies like flooding and explosions..

Then we went down to e lower lot.. a much smaller area than e upper lot coz most of e shops and eateries are at e Upper Lot. And we only went for 2 attractions down there..- 'Special Effects' and 'Revenge of the MUMMY Ride'.

Going for the Mummy Ride... x . x

Special Effects is like a workshop explaining to u how they created effects using advanced technology.. And Mummy Ride is a roller coaster ride indoors. The speed was amazingly fast~ and it went backwards somemore ! = . = really scary.. a bit 'too much' for me but luckily it was a very short ride.... =p

I Wanted to try e Jurassic Park ride too but I dint wanna get wet.. and I was also interested in e House of Horrors ! But..I dint dare to. =X timid wendy. hehe. yupp. I dun even watch horror movies.. so betta nt. I scared I might experience heart problems ltr.... =p

With that few attractions in Universal Studios, it's actually possible to go and experience All in a day.. but because I was with my parents, they totally depended on me to bring them ard. If i was with my friends or bf, I dun mind goin for all.. even for e House of Horrors, *Peer pressure is all I need. haha! that is if my fren is interested and jio me along for it. But then when it comes to my own decision, I might not go.. =p

USA Trip / Arr at LAX

We finally reached LAX ard noon (L.A. time), and there was someone (arranged by our tour agency) to pick us from e airport to our hotel =) YEP things could hav been tis simple.. But smth happened before we could go to our hotel in L.A. ...

My Dad was detained by e officers while we were goin thru e customs to get our fingerprints and pic recorded in our new Biometric passports. And we waited for him at e airport for nearly 4 HRS~~... = . =

He was having problem with his Visa Waiver, cause he registered online for VW for 2 times~ and The first time he did it, he was still using his old passport(e one that bears our IC no.) Then after his first attempt was rejected, he realised that he needs e new biometric passport(which changes our passport no. to e new one that starts with E..) Therefore, he had 2 different passport numbers in their VW system.

So they probably thot.. he might be using a fake passport or smth.. coz he created 2 'identities' by registering twice =(

After the LONGGG wait at e airport, our pick-up actually drove off coz we dint come out on time.. and we hav to pay 70 USD for them to come to e airport again... =(

but nvm, at least they clarified, and Dad dint hav to be 'sent' back to SG. haha =x

It was abt an hrs drive to our hotel (Knotts Berry Farm) in Los Angeles =) and after we checked-in, we went downstairs at e hotel's only restaurant to hav our dinner =)

There were nth much to see outside our hotel.. Thou our hotel was just beside a famous themepark -America's 1st Themepark (and also 'home' for Snoopy) =p But i think e themepark was closed for the day.. so it was very quiet that night.. ;) Our hotel is actually a resort hotel, where many families would come for stay over weekends, to bring their kids for a visit to e themepark ;)

USA Trip / Transit at Tokyo Narita Airport

We had our flight transit in Japan~! but too bad we dint hav enough time to go out for shopping(in e airport itself).. coz our next flight was just ard 2-3hrs ltr, hence we gotta wait at e boarding gates for dat couple of hrs.... =(

it was boring..so I started 'playing' with my DSLR.. =P and I captured these..

Exposure of e pix turned out really nice.. becoz i placed it by e window ledge and gav it time to process e pic.. ;) and The lighting u see 'in e sky' is actually e reflection of ceiling spotlights indoors. =) quite an interesting pic coz it's 2 pictures overlapping on each other ;D

Luckily I only started tis blog since beginning of e yr, and I dint post too many pix.. ;P 'hav just finished removing e pix and now e layout is perfect ! Those Big images on my blog previously, kinda offset e layout becoz it exceeded e coded width size for this blogskin. And I dun wanna chg e codes for that coz given tis skin, e big images really dun look nice here.. I want everyth small and cute ! hehe.

Alright, see if I hav time tonight, will try to do some touch-ups for my blog =)

I just went for a yoga class last night followed by a meet-up with Juan for dinner and chat ~ So tonight I shall just go home early and buy dinner back for mummy =) AND tmr, I'll be seeing dear ! <3 yippie ! ^ ^

yippie ! after browsing so many blogskins these 2 days, I finally decided to use this =) yep. pretty simple but i really like a clean layout, colours and e cute little fonts ! =)

just that i still havent edit those links and txt written by e creator of tis blogskin.. =p and I also find pictures from my previous entries are too BIG in width size -so it's either i delete those entries, or i can simply remove e pictures ;P mayb removing e pix is a betta choice coz I wanna keep those blog entries (for me) to read ;D

I was thinking of blogging my USA trip but i realised that i did wrote smth on e trip while i was in USA.. ;) hmm..mayb I can write a summarised entry of e 3 wks I spent there together with pictures =)

It's raining outside now.. so nice to slp in. But i woke up pretty early at 8 becoz my stomach was nt feeling well again. And last nite I dint slp well too =( There were some problems with my internet connection and also with msn.. spent so much time to login to msn =/ hoping to hav a video conference with dear. But after login, both of us still faced problems starting e video call. sigh. I remember it was ard 1AM plus when I finally get to talk to him on msn, and since then we kept trying to vc.... until almost 4AM. I even fell asleep while waiting for restart of comp and to login to msn...was very tired after a long day out with my friends =. = so got very sleepy.....

I'm nt sure how long I slept..probably 20mins for e last time and when I woke up I saw dear's offline msg to ask me to go bed. and it was already 4AM. =(

Dear, maybe we should try Skype ! it should b' easier coz I've been having problems to login to MSN...

cont. frm e part that my family plan to go KL over e weekend, actually when my Mum asked me, she was only intending to go as a family, just 4 of us(my parents, bro and me). And that night when she came into my room, dear was with me too ;) Then surprisingly, she asked dear whether he would be free to go with us. and almost 'instantly', u see a smile on my face ... haha ! ;D REALLY happy that dear can go with us, so we shall 'stick' together for e next few days ! whee~

KL Trip from 1 - 3 May ;)

I'll be having a short trip with my family and dear to KL over the weekend.. :)

Seriously, without dear with me, I'm Really not interested in any trips abroad.. =p So that day when Mum came into my room and ask me whether I'm interested in goin KL with them, I actually replied her..'Can I not go ?' * = . =

Cause my parents won't let me stay home alone, so even if I said no, either they just cancel e whole plan, or they will be unhappy with me..(mayb they will think e only reason why I dun wanna go is because I cant see my bf for that few days of e trip) Hmm..thou that's true. but without dear I cant enjoy myself much too. I will be missing him so much... =p

Dinner was simple just vege and steamed egg (my favourite) but it's still delicious! Mum's cooking still taste as good as before! =9

Ever since we moved hse(almost for 6 mths till date), Mum seldom cook because most of e time, I'm not at home for dinner ;P So she dun cook if it's only Dad and her eating. Mayb I should try to eat at home at least once or twice a wk ;P and Now that Bro's back from U.S... hopefully he won't be too busy and can come home for dinner too :D

HEHE, now I'm happily eating fruits.. Mum bought papaya at e market this morning =) and she cut them nicely into cubes and put inside e fridge x)

His jacket is hanging at e back of my door now.. and I even hugged it to slp last night. Strange thing to do ? but I really like e smell so much..it's a 'blend' of dear's and his cologne. haha. And dear asked me if someone wears e same cologne as him will I be attracted to him as well. HMM. OF COURSE NOT. =P I love his jacket so much now is oso because it's his. If it's someone elses I will nt like it at all ! might even 'burn it. ha. *opps. ;P

My Long Weekend..

hee. 've been lazy in blogging recently. Thou I've been goin out.. but there's nth much I wanna blog. =P oh . I was playing Bejeweled just now. hehe and I scored my highest ! 174 K ! SO COOL. haha. I finally beaten dear's score ! wheeeee. And it's all because I kept playing it. =P suddenly e score just 'automatically' raised so high that I dun even know how it happened. lol. It's only a 1 min game. Everyth just happened so fast. =P HMM. But I think e score is goin to reset soon. It resets every wk.

Sianz.....realised that my long weekend is over !! so fast =(

Today, I went yoga in e late afternoon. Then met up with Juan after her work And we went Far East plaza for dinner and some shopping =D I saw some nail stickers and suddenly hav tis urge to do 'menicure' on my own. ha.. 've left them looking plain for a while le. Finger and toe nails. they r so 'naked'.. hmm. not nice. Mayb ltr or tmr night..shall 'dress' them up ! :D

I spent my Friday with Lynn to KLunch and we were given such a big room(can accomodate at least 10 in e room) and e TV monitor was pretty big as well =D So while I was singing..I could stand up and move around. haha. It was really nice singing with her. Then near evening time, I met up with dear for dinner and shopping at Takashimaya =D

On Sat, Dear and I went to KTV together with bro, shumei(my bro's gf) and their friends.. There were 9 of us frm e start. Then towards e end of it, a few left =p It was a longgg ktv session - 5HRS. I cant remember when's e last time I sang for that long.. Cause usually I only go for KLunch which is just 3 hrs =) ANW, thou we duno my bro's friends.. but our main 'objective' was just singing. =X so nt much interaction with his friends.. =p And smth I must blog abt e KTV (@Chinatown).. Opps. I cant remember e name of it- smth like 10 dollars family ktv. =P It was my first time there..but 've heard of it before frm friends. Just as e name suggests, it was really just 10 dollars nett per person for 5 hrs ! really cheap. and with free flow of drinks too :D And to my surprise, e songs were quite updated ! =) but i think dear couldn't find some songs he wanted.. hmm.. but I could find mine! hee. 'PK' by Gary and Fish Leong. That song is REALLY nice ! whee. And e sound system is good I must say. Great for value ! The only down side..I heard it's always fully booked. So u hav to make a reservation early ! nt sure how 'early'.. probably a few wks before ? =P

Since Tue.. Dad hav nt been eating lunch with me !! coz he has to go back to check e renovation works at home.. Now our living room seems like a 'construction site'..quite dirty and very very dusty ~ The flooring is covered with cardboards to protect e marble tiles and all e furnitures that cannot b' moved are being wrapped up. The renov. work?-- opening a door to e attic frm e side of living room and fitting a staircase up to that 'door' opening.

Hence for tis wk, I either hav lunch with my colleagues or sometimes with dear =) But today e office is so 'empty'...coz 4 are on leave(including my dad!) and Dear is away for work..So I was alone for lunch today (so lonely.......) xP

I've been returning home late these days.. so I cant find any time to blog abt my trip or upload pictures.. =( Usually I juz bathe n chat awhile with dear on phone before I KO on bed...zzz ;P Tonite I need to go to e airport and together with my parents we'll pick up bro, then return home~ And for tmr, I still need to get up early for yoga class.. kinda tired....

I'm already back for like..a wk plus~ and my pix are still nt up yet! x( Hmm.. I may hav a bit of time on Sunday morning b4 I meet Lynn in e afternoon.. But den..I'm oso thinking of goin for yoga b4 dat... hmmm.....

whee. Friday is over ! and I'm more excited than usual..coz dear will be back tmr evening ! yea~! :D My USA trip was a pretty long one..and I miss him so much when I was over there =( luckily we still get to chat on phone.. But nth beats seeing him right before me and giving him a big big hugzz ! haha. =X We did meet up for a few hrs after my flight arrived at noon on Wed. Probably abt 4 hrs ? (before he went for work ard 5..)

Chatted on phone with him again last nite before bed. I cant wait to see him again. =) tmr ! :D

still feeling tired these 2 days.. Even thou it's a 3wks break frm work.. 'goin for holidays' really sound nice and relaxing. But actually not. Coz it's really tiring ! long hrs of flight, e amt of stuffs we need to carry(whenever we chg our hotels), and not having sufficient rest for 3 whole weeks... x.x I REALLY WISH that I can slp for 2 or 3 days. haha. my eyes are closing.... = . = will be sleeping early ltr.. but hopefully can tok to dear for a while before I KO. =P hee

(We were back to San Francisco on Sat night) And Yesterday, we drove for abt 1-2hrs to a premium outlet at e outskirt of SFO for some shopping. And During Evening time we went for a scenic drive along 17 miles Dr. The view was really pretty and e environment was so nice and peaceful. Felt really good abt e place. and We even saw rainbow ! xD BUT too bad I dint bring my DSLR coz I was tired and wasn't in e mood for pictures.. ;P

Talking abt e shopping yest, There were 100 over stores(145 to be exact =p ) and we spent almost 4hrs there, but we only managed to 'cover' 1 quater of e whole area. haha. And Mum's fav shop is Coach. So far I think we've gone to abt 5-6 Coach outlets in US le.. The price is really cheap here.. The discount can go up to 50%. And PLUS Additional 50% ! exaggerating right?

And yest I nearly bought a coach leather wallet.. it was only 40USD after 50%+Add 50% discount. =p but I didn't. Cause I've already bought a DKNY wallet in NY. And 1 person can only use 1 wallet at a time. right? =p (Except for my Mum)..guess how many wallets she bought on this trip? 4!! She bought 2 frm Coach, 1 DKNY and another frm Nine West. *fainted* =O

Oh ya actually right now I'm waiting for my bro to come back frm e airport to pick me up. He has gone to pick up 2 of his friends frm Singapore. He will be travelling for another wk or 2 to go camping with his friends =) Which means, he won't be coming back with us to Sg. And now my parents are waiting at a shopping mall(just 1 subway station away). So when Bro comes back for me, we'll go meet them. I dint join my parents just now cause I was talking to dear =) He's so nice to call me whenever I want him to :D Now he has gone to bed and tmr when he wakes up(which will be my night time here), he will call me again. hehehe =P

I'm left with 2 days in SFO. and my flight back -tmr night. =)

Today we'll be doing some shopping and walking ard in SFO...

Then tmr, I will be with Bro and his friends to a park and vista pt near e Golden Gate Bridge to view e scenery.. and ltr we'll drive to Nappa Valley for some sight-seeing too. =)

Actually having a car is essential if u're travelling by urself in US.. but rental for a day is ard 70 USD. And Mum thinks it's exp =( yupp kinda exp.. and she doesn't like scenic tours.. she only likes to shop =( So to her, renting a car and driving ard for sight-seeing is like a waste of time and money =(

sigh* So for tmr, Dad and Mum wont be joining us, they will be goin to shop on their own somewhere near e hotel. Then it will just be Bro and me together with 2 of his friends in e car -Hence cost of e car will b' equally shared.

I wish to b' back in Sg soon.. coz I think e whole trip is really getting tiring.. I've been having bad headaches these few days. Feeling kinda weak.. =( and when I come back on Wed, I still need to get back to work e next day =( ...tired. X . X And for e weekends, I'll surely be meeting up with dear..nvm, he shall b' my energy booster! lol. alright..I'm ending this post. Bro should b' back any min ! =)

Last entry before I go to bed. =) Only Pluto is accompanying me now..e rest are all asleep(by now) =P Tis baby pluto u see in e pic is so cute..isn't it. hee. When I saw it at Disneyland for e first time, I really liked it a lot.. but I told myself that I shouldn't be spending on plushies..so I merely took some pix of it and left...

Then after I saw it for e 2nd time.. I asked Dad to take pix of me with it.. =p

... then e 3rd time.. I saw it again just before I was abt to leave e park... and I finally set my mind on buying it. =P The fur is so nice to touch and it feels great to hug it to bed in tis cold weather. hehe. It has accompanied me for almost e whole of my stay here and travelling with us to so many places. =D ha. 'fortunate dog.

Finally, my first USA trip, and also e longest vacation I've ever spent..is coming to an end in another few days time. Hmm.. It's been an exciting trip and a good experience to come to America. We've travelled to so many places in e past 2-3wks and it was really an eyeopener...

Recalling from e start of our trip when we first arrived after a long flight to LAX.. We spent our first few days visiting themeparks in L.A. -Univeral Studios(Hollywood), Disneyland and SeaWorld. Then we joined a tour grp with 50over pple to Las Vegas for 2-3days. And from there we also spent a day travelling to the Grand Canyon but we only got to stay there for an hr, after 5 hrs from Las Vegas to e South Rim of Grand Canyon. It was a really beautiful sight looking down at it from e top... I wish I can go back again. =)

Then after leaving Las Vegas, we went back to L.A. And on our way to San Francisco, we went to Yosemite National Park.

another highly recommended place(besides The Grand Canyon) to go to in US. =) I really love e national parks in America. It's just so different frm all e other scenic tours I've been to..the cooling weather and the spectacular views ard just makes me feel good. I wonder how would I feel if I can spend a few days up there.. strolling by e lake and wandering abt takin pix whenever I come across nice sceneries.. =) and of course..with dear =) hehe.

Throughout my trip in US, I seriously hope that he can be with me to enjoy the views I'm seeing... =( just like when I was at Yosemite, while we were taking pix, e feeling somewhat gt so strong that I became a bit depressed.... =P hmm, and in all e photos of me, I really hope that he could b' inside e pic too posing with me. haha. mayb' holding me in his arms or giving me a kiss. hahaha. =p lovey. can't wait to see him in Sg..

alright =P shall cont. frm Yosemite, that night we checked into our first hotel in San Francisco. yeah~ getting closer to Bro. =P then e next day we went for a 1 day tour ard SFO. And after we came back, we met up with Bro in our hotel room =D Since then Bro joined us for our trip and we came to New York, and drove to Nigara Falls in Canada.. And we've just came back last night =)

The Niagara Falls is also 1 of my fav part for e whole trip =D Esp. the rainbow I saw at e falls really left a very deep impression in my mind..coz it's e nicest one I've ever seen... :D pictures will be up soon..k? hehe. And u'll b' amazed how beautiful it is.. The weather was very good that day to see such a nice rainbow. and I actually saw a double one :D (which is visible in e pix I took). It was really cool.. =P I must go back to see it again with dear next time.. =D whee

I hope I can get up in time to go Cental Park ltr. haha. *opps. but luckily ~~tmr~~ later I can just rest on e flight(abt 5hrs) back to SFO. And back to e nice nice hotel we stayed previously(at Whitcomb) where we'll hav a room of our own(shared with Bro) Coz we've been sharing room altogether, and it seems kinda crowded and noisy at times.. =P

My actual flight back to Sg is on 24th. but we'll reached on 25th. So we are only left with 2-3days in SFO before we go back... =)

I just woke up abt 2 hrs ago.. Actually I wanted to take a short nap and probably make a trip down to Times Square for some photo-taking... but I overslept..and I slept for almost 4hrs! =P And now I'm playing Bejewled Blitz on Facebook. =D just now Bro was asking whether I'm goin back to bed ltr.. and my ans was... "I'm tryin to adjust my bio-clock back to Singapore time !" haha. =p "ya..right."

Tmr we'll be catching our flight* back to San Francisco and will be spending our last few days(in USA) with Bro bringing us ard San Francisco(which he referred as 'his second home').. hehe. whee~I also like SFO more than New York.. =)

feeling a bit grouchy.. =/ cause I'm missing my dear so much ! =( and the weather is super cold here.. less than 10deg cel.. so cold that I couldn't even speak when I came out of e car.. also because I'm nt wearing enough... =X

Just now we drove out to see e Niagara Falls. At first I thot it should b' somewhere in a park or smth(like those National Parks in US that we've been to..) but no.. It's so near e hotels and shops~ just a fencing/handrail ard e water falls. But it's really big.. and e impact of e water fall created light rain drizzling ard e area. Yup.. it's actually e water splashing up after hitting e bottom... pretty cool.. but it was too dark(coz already past midnight) for us to see anyth and it was very cold.... = ~ =

ya it's very late..almost 2AM here now.. think I should be goin to bed... I'm tired = . =zzz

We set off ard 11 today.. hee. finally gt e chance to slp in late. haha =P Then we took e subway to Columbus Circle and had our brunch at Time Warner Centre(shopping mall).. the shops in there are quite high-end =p coz frm e shops directory brochure, it's all rated to be (E)-Expensive and (VE)-Very Expensive.. =O But Coach is relatively cheap compared to Sg.. SO Mum bought 1 there today =P she bought a leather bag, quite big and I think it should b' ard 1K in Sg.. actually I'm nt too sure but looking at e material and size, should b' ard dat price. And it cost abt 700+ here.. a few hundred cheaper =) Most importantly, she likes it. =)

After that, we headed down to see e Statue of Liberty ! We took e Staten Island Ferry across New York harbor to view e Statue.. and it's free ! haha. There's also another ferry that will bring u to e Liberty island but u will need to pay for that =p We dint get a very clear view of e statue becoz of e weather but it's good enough to be able to see it frm far.. haha

Then next we went to 'Ground Zero' which is e place where e 911 incident happened. Hmm.. we only saw a construction site there and a Tribute WTC Visitor Centre. We wanted to go in but it's 10 dollars per pax for e guided tour..and that's also e only option. =P So we headed to e street across and went for shopping at Century 21instead..hehe. It's a very BIG store and I nearly got lost inside ! It's well known for cheap branded goods.. but I duno most of e brands.. those that I knew were DKNY, CK, Nine West, Lacoste...etc. And they are selling lots of things from clothings, bags and shoes to household and decor items... =) hmm. we enjoyed our shopping spree there. hehe. I spent quite a lot. *opps =p

And finally our last stop, we went to Times Square. It's a shopping area and also like a landmark in e city =) We were there ard evening time..and all e buildings were already lighted up at that time.. It was really nice.. I think even nicer than wad I saw in Las Vegas.. =p but we didn't stay for long there coz it was getting late =( Mayb' we'll go back again so I can take some more pictures =) probably a few days ltr after we come back frm Niagara Falls.

Tmr we'll b' renting a car and driving up to Niagara Falls. Bro says it will take abt 8 hrs.. =X and we'll stay for 2 nights there =) alright. It's getting late here.. think I should log off... It's time to tok to dear too =P wheee.

It's very very COLD here in San Francisco! The wind was so strong when we were walking back to our hotel after dinner just now. Actually it was just a very short distance(less than 3mins) But it was really unbearable..My face turned so icy cold just within dat few mins =( Thou I'm glad dat my trench coat is good as a windbreaker but I think I might need smth to cover my face as well =( coz e wind chill is really too cold x(

Today, we spent almost e whole day at Bro's sch at Berkeley.. First we attended his graduation ceremony, then after e ceremony, we went for a buffet lunch for e event. And then ard late noon, Bro showed us ard his campus =) His campus area is Huge and beautiful.. We also went up e Sather tower(it's a bell and clock tower) which is a landmark of their sch.. =)

oh ya and I skipped lunch today =( dint eat at his sch coz I was busy following him ard and taking pictures for him and his friends. Seriously, I'm not good in taking portrait photos =X and sometimes he will see his friends indoors, sometimes outdoors, and for some shots, I did it under e shade! = . =||| felt really stressful tryin to adjust my cam settings and to take e shots fast.. *sigh I think they will b' disappointed with e pix coz all of them were expecting better shots frm a DSLR ? =( And 1 of his classmates was even praising me abt e pix I posted on facebook. I was quite happy when I heard that. But now I'm feeling kinda sad. I still need more practice =(

Tmr we'll b' flying to New York for a wk.. we will be goin to Niagara Falls for 2 days and also to Canada. Then come back to San Francisco again for a few days, before we take our flight back on 24-25th. HMM. 10 more days to go. How I wish Bro's graduation was in summer time here (so it's not so cold.....) =P

*yawnz.. I'm getting bored waiting for Bro to come back. He's havin drinks with his friends at a pub.. And he Refused to bring e room card along with him. I wonder why = . =? So I hav to wait for him... It's ard 12:20AM now.. getting late.. And there's nth interesting on TV ~ so sad. = . = zzz

Feeling a bit feverish. Maybe I'm nt having enough rest. Or maybe it's because..I ate too much heaty stuffs? x . x or could it be e weather ? It's really cold here esp when it gets windy...

Today we toured ard San Francisco.. =) went to lots of places..at least 10over stops ? I feel that our itinerary today is really too packed..First we went for breakfast(dim sum at Chinatown), then we tried to climb 1 of e steep slopes at Lombard Street, then to Golden Gate bridge(went twice for e day and night views), then to Napa Valley for some wine tasting, then we also went to Fisherman's Wharf and took e cruise ride...etc.. x.x It was fun and I love all e places we went to.. but I'm totally exhuasted now..

I think i'm nt havin enough rest coz I only had 3 hrs of slp last nite ! becoz of someone ! =/

Bro is with us now =) and tmr we'll be goin to his graduation ceremony at Berkeley =)

There were no free internet access in e previous 2 hotels I stayed (in L.A. and Las Vegas)..=( so I went 'missing' for a wk, nt being able to come online =P But at last, I've just reached San Francisco today and this is my first night here in Radisson hotel. This hotel is good ! because of e free internet ! haha. and also e bed!.. it's very cool.. u can actually control e 'hardness' of bed.. Yup.. there's a remote control n u just need to press e up, down keys to make it firmer or softer. =P but I hav no preference for it.. norm will do. haha.

Today we went to Yosemite National Park.. it's nt as cold as wad we experienced at Grand Canyon(coz it wasn't dat windy at Yosemite =p ), but there were thick layers of ice seen everywhere on e ground (from ard 5000 feet n above) and also on e mountains.. It's really nicee.. And e waterfalls were spectacular...there were quite a few we saw and I took pix ! hehe. Could hav taken more but I forgot to charge my batt~ = . = and we didn't hav much time to look ard- e tour guide only gav us an hr plus =(

It will be nice if can stay for a day or 2 to relax -hav a walk ard and take some 'nicely composed' pictures ! =P coz I thot e pix I took today were only so-so.. Didn't see any lakes at e 2 stop-overs up there..I think it will look really good in pictures with lakes and some reflections of e surroundings..Right ? =)

hmm..see if I hav e chance to go again =) Really enjoyed e cooling weather and e great views on top..(frm abt 7000 feet elev.) But den..felt a bit 'empty' coz someone wasn't ard with me =x hmm. I really really ..miss him lots !

SINGAPORE : Contractors have been engaged to repair the Singapore Merlion after it was struck by lightning on Saturday.

SINGAPORE: A Nanyang Technological University (NTU) spokesman had confirmed that a final year student from the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering stabbed a professor Monday morning.

Dad was telling me abt e NTU student who committed suicide after stabbing his prof at e back. Hmm.. quite scary that such things could happened. I guessed e prof must hav done smth that agitated e student. Maybe said some very mean things abt him or..dint help him much for FYP ? Or smth even more serious. X . X but it's also such a pity that e student died =(

And e news abt Merlion being struck by lightning.. doesn't it sound like a very bad omen that smth is goin to happened in Sg ? *opps. Poor merlion.. I think it was e head that got hit by e lightning..

Today, I met up with ChaiHui and ChyePei for KLunch ard noon time.. (: First to arrive at 11 sharp was me!(tis is rather rare.. keke =x ) Then, ChyePei came and she 'forced' me to choose ALL e new songs frm Fish Leong, Rainie, Jay and Zhuo Wen Xuan..=/ coz she said she hasn't been listening to any new songs recently... = . =|| So we 'went thru' all e songs n tried to sing them.. haa. a bit waste of time.. coz usually we'll sing those we know how to sing rather than learning them at KTV ~ ok, mayb' we do, but not for so many songs! =P haha. Anw it was still fun. oh and Ck was 'blaming' me for nt jio-ing him for KTV =p It's nt dat I dun wan to.. but he was having classes since morning.. thou he said he's willing to skip his classes for KTV = . =(I wonder if it's for real....) but he really loves singing like me too. hehe. Wait till I come back 3wks later ! :D

Then after KTV, Chai Hui suggested to go Natas Fair.. At first I was quite surprised that Pei would wanna go.. then aft she agreed, I told her it's at Expo and she was like "huh. so far." =p hahaha. But since we've gt nth to do(other than shopping), we decided to make a trip down to Expo. While on our way there, Ww called and told us abt e admission fee and long Q, but we dint believe him. haha. So it was true.. u hav to buy a $3 tic to enter and e Q was really Really long... hence we dint get to go in coz we felt it's nt worth e time to Q up(esp when we only wanted to take a look at e promotions they have..) =p

But i think it wasn't a wasted trip at all.. coz we passed by a roadshow selling cameras(there were brands like Sony, Panasonic Lumix, Canon, and Olympus too..) And I saw a SONY cam which was very cheap..! at only 199~ hmm. for e brand and specs, it's really cheap to be selling below 200 x) ER and I've decided to go buy it tmr.. =p Firstly, it was e price dat 'attracts' me.. =p den after comparing e specs with SONY's latest model(frm e same series), Just other than e mega pixels diff (10.1 & 7.2), e rest of specs were more or less the same. So for tis price of 199, it's very worth (: And I needed one too for candid shots. =P

Previously I thot I could just use my 5 mega pixels phone for taking pictures. But e picture quality is really bad and I'm very disappointed. Esp for my N79, it's supposed to be one of e latest phone frm Nokia. But e image quality is BAD =( Dear's N82 works better for its camera. =S HMM

alrite I shall cont, we were at Expo. Before we left e place, e 2 of them gt hungry so we bought donuts and sat down to eat and chat =) And after that, we headed back to town area and met up with Ck, Ww, Weili(and his gf too) =D

shall skip all e details. haha.

We had our dinner together and did some shopping.. Then we sat at Wisma's Toast box and chatted till closing. hehe. It was really fun chatting abt e past during our sec sch times.. I must say, all of them hav a betta memory than me~ coz I 've 4gotten lots of things. hehe. All e things they mentioned were so interesting, and some were even unknown to me.. haha..

And e sweetest thing to hear was, while on our way bac, Weili asked when can we meet up like tis again.. And I replied him, anytime. but of course, after my trip. =p coz it's nt difficult to ask them out..=p As long as they are free, they will come out whenever I asked them to =D But for now, because Jz, Ck and Ww are still schooling, so mayb' they r more Free.. =p Nt sure whether they will still hav time to meet up after they start work. =S oh ya even Ck and Pei are looking forward for our next gathering =) hee. it's really good to hear. Shall meet up again in April after I'm back frm US :D

oh no. I'm running short of time.. But I think e most important thing now is to pack my luggage and see wad else I need to get for my trip. A vacation for 3 weeks.. It's really l-o-n-g... 16 days of leave and I just applied my leave today. opps. should 've apply for it 1 wk earlier..but I always wait until e last min =p hehe. And by right, I should be applying for unpaid leave since it's for so many MANY days... But e company decided to treat it as annual leave.. and deduct ltr. Hmm..right now I've only accumulated 2-3 days till date. =p They Probably goin to deduct my leave till next yr. coz tis yr wont b' enough for so many days.... OH NO which means I cant take any more leave for tis yr ? *sadded. Hope I dun need to.

Counting down 4 days to my US trip. On my way back frm dear's hse juz now, I was writing a check list of wad I need to bring. =p haha. and b4 goin home, I went to watsons and bought a lot of stuffs(yup. frm my checklist. hehe).. Biore cleansing cotton to remove makeup, Biore facial cleanser(Extra Moist) for e dry climate over in US =p , ZA eye mascara(Maybelline's one is not good thou it really thickens and curls-showing more volume. but it smudges ! = . = so far, ZA is still e best ! keke). Hmm, and I also bought Neutrogena Deep Hydrating mask(coz it was cheap, only 20! =D ), AND i bought dental floss too. haha. I just feel like using it -all of a sudden(and btw, tis is e only item nt in my checklist!) lol. Tmr, I need to go get a jacket for e cold weather in US. Think I Should do a search on winter wear....coz I dun really know wad kind of jacket I need. =p

and Before I 'leave'... I'll be meeting up with my friends over tis weekend.. =) hehe. Mr Jz is soo smart.. coz he guessed correctly dat my bf is nt goin to be ard for these 2 days, dat's why I'm asking my frens out =p haha. yup. So tmr I'm goin to meet Chyepei and Chaihui for KLunch, then ltr at night we'll meet up with Ck and Ww for dinner together =) And for Sunday, I'm goin to meet Lynn for a while before I go to e airport to meet my dear x)

Sigh. Weekend will b' gone in a flash..and I'll be working on Mon and Tue, before my flight on Wed morning ard 9. =) It's goin to b' a long flight for 17-18hrs x . x How I wish i can get off days on Mon and Tue as well..for me to rest before my trip ! coz it's goin to b' tiring.. I'm afraid of jet lag ! the cold weather ! and all e stuffs that I need to carry with me ! X . X my handbag, camera, laptop.. tripod.. *faints*

my eyes r tired actually... but I juz dun feel like goin to bed.. = . = Just called dear and we chatted for abt.. an hr plus ? But we hav to end e call becoz of e time limit per call =(

and it's only now then I realise that they hav a time limit for each call ! coz I remember before e line got through, it told me that I hav 400over mins remaining.. which is ard 6-7 hrs ? Hence it cant be so fast when it suddenly tells me I only hav 60secs left for e call = . = So I went to check by calling e no. again and I was right. There's still a balance of abt 300 mins~.. = . = oh no..In e past I always thot I should 've used up my card value everytime when it tells me e call is goin to end.. @. @ aiyo. blur me. But anw, at least now I know ;P

It's late..I'm feeling hungry! =9 hmm..will upload some pix after this entry.. And I still need to transfer pix from my cam which I took last wk on V. Day.. took lots of pix esp on e Sg River cruise ride =D

Just now, I brought my phone for repair.. (they say I should b' getting it by Sun or Mon.. hee. great. it's faster than I thought) Then while waiting at e service centre, I sms Juan telling her I'm in town.. then we decided to meet for dinner =D So nice of her to come.. hehe.. mayb' becoz I'm leaving soon~~ so came to meet me b4 my trip =) We had mac and chatted on a lot of stuffs... ^O^.. Then we went to e arcade at Cineleisure to play e Basketball game ! hee. The previous time I played that was in Taiwan.. it's a common game over there and u can see it almost everywhere.. =) I like e game a lot. coz it's like a workout for me..and quite fun too coz u can always try to improve ur score.. =) yea..we played 4times just now. scored 70+, 80+, 97 and den 149 ! haha. =) I wanna go play again x) but it's also kinda EXP. =p 1.50 per game. = . =

Over e Weekend:
I'm havin yoga classes in e late afternoon ltr, followed by KTV with Lynn and Yu Min.. :D whee. Then for Sunday..'fully' booked by Mr Yang =) hee. His flight is goin to reach ard 6AM! I wonder if I can get up dat early to go to e airport o.O but we'll still b' meeting for breakfast =9

Actually.. other than being observant enough to spot those differences, it's also important to hav a good memory! Then u can remember those pictures u've done before and complete them easily. haha! =X

How did u spend ur V. Day ? I didn't meet Lynn today. Coz after my previous entry, Juan called to ask me out =) so I went out with her instead :P felt bad at first..coz I promised Lynn that I will meet her for dinner. But I suddenly don't feel like eating steamboat becoz e weather was hot when I came out tis afternoon... x.x hmm so today was just me and Juan =)

All thanks to a friend CY for telling me abt e sms which entitles us for free admissions to Sentosa, Jurong Birdpark, National Museum, and free rides on Singapore River Cruises bumboats and Singapore Flyer ~! yup yup.. all free.. :P SO today Juan and I had complimentary passes to National Museum, and we also took a boat ride along Sinapore river.. hehe.. so interesting. :P

oh no. Am I becoming .. 'auntie' ? excited abt freebies. = . = opps*. But usually Singaporeans won't take e boat for views along Sg river mah.. so I'm a 'little'(yup.. only a Little) EXCITED abt it. hehe. It was a fun experience.. at least smth different... and it's my first time too =) There were even teenagers waving to us when they saw our boat passing by.. hehe.. they must hav thought we were tourists ~ haha. Juan also wanted to go Sg Flyer.. but I said I wanted to go with yaoxiang.. ooo really bad of me ! xiang may nt be free to go with me too. MY DEAR will be away in Japan tis Saturday.. =( but I'm not feeling disappointed now..coz we've already spent 10hrs together yest (though still nt enough..but we can go out again when he's back ! =D ). haha. I took a half day leave yest to spend time with him.. coz for e whole of tis wk.. He was in Mumbai frm Mon-Wed, and Fri-Sun in Osaka.

Thou he's busy.. And. Time ALWAYS seem so short when I'm with him.. but we'll just cherish all e time we hav together =) Those dates on special ocassions are not important. Even if it's my birthday or some anniversaries.. I dun mind if he needs to work =) thou I will probably 'pretend' to look sad to make him feel guilty. hee. opps* but really..No point wasting our time to be together, just for me to be angry with him.. and for smth which is out of his control.. (I should be angry with e flight scheduler instead. right..? but I duno who he is...or is it a 'she'? hmm o . O).

And most importantly, he has given me all his free time. =D whee. and that's good enough. Love him lots ! ^. ^

All e keys juz stopped functioning.. Initially it started with e button for accepting calls.. sometimes I need to press a few times juz to accept a call.. Then a few wks ago, I hav problem typing sms.. e letters cannot come out and it actually got worse these few days. Like yest, I GAVE UP on typing e sms that I wanted to send.. = . =

And tis afternoon.. x.x it died ! *sobz. The screen is still showing..but all e buttons, whichever u try to press.. it juz doesn't work at all. =( e censor for all buttons are spoilt I think. The 'best' part is..my N79 is only 3 months old !

sianz= . = it's goin to be troublesome without a phone by side.. 'll go home and try to look for an old one to use first.. but den, I dun recall if there's any that's still working =( uh-oh..

Maybe tmr if I'm free... I'll bring it to e Nokia service centre for repair.. and I hope they wont take too long to repair it~

Just brought my DSLR for repair too.. spent 2hrs on my lunch break today to bring it down to e Canon service centre (@ Keppel Bay, Harbourfront). Dad was complaining a 'little abt e long lunch break =P Hmm. But it was e waiting time for replacing e focusing screen(inside e camera body) that took so long. =X

That time I spotted 2 t-i-n-y dust particles on e screen when I look thru e viewfinder. so... I tried to clean it. erm..but made it worse and some dust frm e cloth I used were trapped on e top part of screen.. and cleaning was almost impossible coz dat part was difficult to reach. And e person who checked e screen for me..told me dat there were scratches on it too =P opps*

I guess they need to dismantle e front part of e camera body to replace e screen.. hence we waited 1 hr for them to fix it.. =P As for e lens dat was spoilt when I was in Hong Kong, they will need 5 working days to repair it.. Hmm..luckily it's still within e 1-yr warranty(due on 9th March), so it's free =) and in time for my US trip too =)

There wasn't many pple at e Canon service centre.. probably 5-6 customers only.. so can I say dat their products wont get spoilt easily ? hee. ok la. should b' quite reliable and durable.. mine is almost 1 yr old.. and sometimes I might accidentally knock my cam onto e wall or smth. haha. opps. At least it's much durable than my Nokia phone !

ohhhh maddening* and Nokia service centre (like e one at Causeway pt) is always havina long Q ! mayb' I should try e one at Wheelock place ? Dad says there's one there too... = (

US Trip in March !

I'll be goin to US next mth..! :) to attend my Bro's graduation ceremony at Berkeley, Univ. of California :D (on 13rd March). But we'll be joining a tour grp first in early March before meeting up with him on 13rd. And The itinenary for our tour package will include L.A., Las Vegas and finally San Francisco(where his sch is).. Then we'll extend our stay there for another 1 wk++ for e graduation.. and after which Bro will bring us ard in San Francisco and ltr, to New York as well =)

From Sg, The flight is goin to take 7hrs to Narita airport for transit, and then another 15hrs to San Francisco.. =O oh no. 15 Hours.. that's really really long......
If I were to spend time watching movies.. then I will hav to watch 5-6 movies onboard. xP and I dun think I can sleep well on e aircraft. Usually I will just wake up every 1-2hrs.. x.x Zzz

But anw, I'm still quite excited abt it coz it will be my first time to USA =)

So, for e whole of next mth.. I won't be in Singapore.. frm 3rd March to ard 24th. Hmm.. a bit too long for a vacation thou.. =( coz I cant imagine how much I'll be missing my dear... T ~ T sobz.

Recently I bought a hellolulu laptop tote bag coz I plan to bring my laptop over as well..then can VC dear frm overseas. hmmmm tis should b' e last trip for this year. :) AND for next year.. =D

I will be going to Japan again ! x) wheeeeee. Next year I'm not sure whether dear can apply for leave.. If can, we can travel together with my family~ mayb' Bro and Shumei should join us too(if Bro will b' coming back to work in Sg).

It's not just a thought of going to Japan..We will be going :D Coz for this US tour package that we 've booked, they hav given us Free air tickets to Japan ! =D SO it's just a matter of time, of when we plan to go.... :) Dad says maybe in April next year.. but we still need to find out e time limit for e tix. I heard.. there's no restrictions for dat. hmm, nvm we'll confirm again. Wheeee ! xD it will be great to go Japan again. And hopefully..dear can come along too x)

yeah.. finally. =x I'm feeling so tired from walking these days.. esp on e 2nd day when we travelled by train on our own, we went to Mong Kok for shopping, and surprisingly, most of the shops there were opened.. even thou it was on the first day of CNY. Then at night, we went to Tsim Sha Tsui for the Night Parade(it's smth like our Chingay in Sg).. hmm, just wanted to experience it for myself since I 'm already here.. but due to many reasons, I didn't enjoy it at all.. x( Firstly, there were too many pple. 2nd, The place where I stood was too far =( 3rd, I can't zoom using my 50mm lens =( 4th, Mummy was feeling cold and tired.. 5th, All of us got bored after a while..'cause can't see much of the performances.. I think the location was really not ideal for viewing.. too far and e place was too crowded... =P

Then on the 3rd day, we set off for Macau in the morning.. Took a ferry there.. and I realised..I get sea sick easily =( yupp.. started to feel giddy after the boat began to move.. hmm.. and this afternoon too when we came back from Macau @ . @ think I'm nt suitable to take boats. Luckily I didn't vomit... x(

For my Macau trip.. We were staying at Venetian, a 5 Star Hotel.. and e place is really big..with shopping mall and casino.. it was so big that we only shopped ard there without going anywhere else in Macau.. not enough time to go other places too.. maybe next time. =p

hmm nth special to blog abt tis trip.. but will post some photos on facebook ltr. :D

Feeling really down...I'm missing my dear so much ='(

I'm now in Hong Kong.. But I really don't like it here =( The weather is very cold ard 10deg cel.. and because of this, my camera malfunctioned =( Sigh. This is bad.. now I cannot take pictures outdoors.

I think the fact that I didn't mention about my trip is because I wasn't looking forward to it.. xP I've been here a few times already.. thou not to all the places of interests, but there's nothing much here that attracts me... Hmm..maybe just the Peak..for the night view. But we won't be going up this time 'cause it's already so cold here.. I can't imagine how cold the wind chill would be at the peak... x(

And apart from these that's making me moody..I guess the main reason is still because of Dear. I really miss him so much. esp after last night... Yest we met up in the late afternoon near my hse, then we had dinner together with my parents(also at somewhere near). After that we went back to my place and dear watched me as I packed my luggage.. :) Actually he was supposed to go to his aunt's hse for dinner.. but I didn't want him to leave so early(it was ard 8 that time..). So I showed him my sad and disappointed expression like this T ~ T and asked him to stay :)

Dear really dotes on me so much.. So much that I Really feel touched by every little thing that he did for me... like last night, I know he's very tired..but he just stayed by my side and waited with me patiently until 3+AM... and when I get grouchy over smth, he can calm me down..and make me feel so much better :) hmm. some feelings are hard to put into words.. ok my eng is not good too.. *ahem. but to put it simply..I'm So In Love With Him x) and I dun like to be separated from him. SO I dun like to stay abroad *pouts*

T . T I hope tmr when I wake up, it will be 29th. The day which I will be coming back. - . -

The lighting here near e hotel's reception area(for internet access) is very bad.. I should hav brought my laptop here so I can use it from my room... hmm... Dad and Mum are resting in the room now.. Later at 7, we'll be having dinner at the restaurant here which has already been booked by the tour guide before we came :) ok at least 1 thing to be happy about, since we don't have to worry about where to eat for re-union dinner. And counting e 2nd thing to be happy about, the room is nice :) I like e bathroom area.. and I have a Queen size bed to myself.. :) coz there are 2 Q size beds and my parents are sharing 1.

I really have to change my mindset about being here. Gotta think of happy things. Must stay cheerful :D so dear won't be worried about me :D

I ate these at dear's hse for e first time..and dear ltr gave me some to bring home for my parents =D Now, my Mum loves it too. coz it's very very sweet ! and easy to peel too. hee. mini size. Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea

whee ! finally watched the movie after 3 WEEKS.. (after nagging so much at dear). haha. But nvm, I still enjoyed it as much.. cause it's Cute ! really cute !.. cute things will always make Wendy happy.. hehe. This movie is much more simpler than I expected.. after watching 宫崎骏's previous works like 'Spirited Away' and 'Howl's Moving Castle'.. But I have to say..this Ponyo movie is e cutest of all ! hehe.

The storyline is very simple.. I was just admiring the movie pictures, effects, and Ponyo's expressions!.. hehe. Kawaii ! lol. I've been imitating how Ponyo spoke for e first time in the movie..she was saying "ponyo sosuke SUKI ! " x] which means ponyo loves sosuke, Sosuke is the little boy who saved Ponyo when her head got stucked in a bottle. haha. That part was really cute as well =P If I've caught tis movie earlier before I went to Japan, I would have brought back Lots of e movie's collectible items~ I remember seeing a lot!.. but didn't know wad was it abt that time.. - . - ...

nice pix ? =P I'm using Photoscape to combine and re-arrange these pix into one.. =) and U can also add frames, do some simple editing or effects to it =D really easy to use.. Thx to Serene for recommending this free software~ I like it so much. haha.

I'm back to cont' my previous entry =P actually nth much too.. was shopping at Bugis and didn't expect myself to buy so many stuffs.. + . + hmm..ok la 2 dresses and a shirt :D And I'm Still thinking abt e 2 Long Tees that I saw at 'Design Tshirt Store'. =( I want long tees~.....=( saw 2 designs which I like. 1 for 35, 2 for 60. so should get 2 right ? Since I like both. hehe.

Dress from MDS at Haji Lane.. I like e flowery prints of e dress..and maybe it's e colour.. shades of purple..that makes it look really sweet x) fell in love with it when I saw it~ and it's nt exp at all..only 32. I love dresses ! :D

Shirt from Litmus.. by local designer..which is e shop's owner.. =) and e cute thing is, they have the same design for guys too. So couples can wear together..hehe. will look pretty cutee. But this design.. esp e colour.. doesn't suit my xiang . haha =x

The shorts they sell there are nice too.. but I have a few at home already, so I didn't buy =) for girls, if it's casual wear, shirts should always be worn with shorts..if nt u will look too boyish with long jeans. =) And the colour too.. that's why I chose Pink ! sweet mah =p hehe

And my last buy of the day is a knitted dress from Giordano.. HMM..I bought it because tere wanted to get jeans.. and if u purchase 2 items together, u can get a 40% off. whereas 1 item will only be a 20% off. =) yup. so I bought e dress. for only 20 =)

Dear is back ~! got a sms from him last night. hmm, nope..should be this morning =P ard 2+AM.. so I guess he should be still sleeping right now =)

Shall let him rest and wait for his call when he wakes up =D

I'm transferring pix from my phone now.. let me blog a bit abt yest =) Did 2 of my fav pastimes yest.. N that is..KTV and Shopping ! :D

was 1hr late for KLunch with Ww and Ck :p reached Clementi KBox at almost 12.. so only sang for 2hrs =( really felt like extending the hrs~ but we agreed to go again on 1 of e weekdays next week, or maybe after CNY =)

yest I was trying out some new songs :D Sang my recent favs 卓文萱 - 一句話, and 大嘴巴 - 永远在身边 =) and also some 'Oldies' 范文芳 & 张信哲 - 别让情两难 and 许美静 - 城里的月光.. etc. Hmm felt that my singing is getting from -okay to bad.. haha. and If it worsens again, then I will use getting from 'bad to worse'. lol.

After KLunch ended at 2.. We went Bugis to shop =) Before that I was still thinking of wad am I goin to wear for CNY =p cause I couldn't find anyth I like.. and come to the worse, I dun mind not wearing New clothings for new year..=) But yeaH.. I found~ and not only 1.. I found a lot of clothes that I like at Bugis ! =P I bought a dress at Haji Lane ! I brought them to Haji Lane.. 'cause they hav not been there before :] I like e place..it's much quieter than Bugis BHG there and e shops decor and things they sell there are unqiue too.. lots of vintage stuff to see =)

Then after that we walked back to Bugis to shopped for a while before they went back.. and I stayed 'cause I 'm meeting tere for dinner at Sketches =)

Just received dear's msg... and I wonder if he has received mine :(

There's a problem with my phone... =/ cause he told me that he didn't receive those sms that I sent out just now when I was outside(at Jurong Pt), and some which I sent last night too :(

Just now at JP, I tried to reply to his sms, but I have problem sending :( felt so helpless then, cause it just kept showing me 'Failure' in sending :( and I saw dear's msg saying I'm busy then never reply him :(

sighhh~ really miss him lots too.. I was holding on to my phone for the whole night.. even when I was in the theater watching Red Cliff 2 for that 2.5hrs.. switched my phone to silent mode with vibration, and grabbing it tightly so I will not miss his msg :(

sigh.. nvm dear will understand.. I will explain it to him when I see him tmr ! whee~~ yupp he's coming back tmr night =D

Finally the l-o-n-g wait is over ! and I'm so happy that he will be back tmr nite... yeah =)

Even till now, whenever I receive a sms, I would hope that it's from my dear.. always anticipating for 'From Lawrence' to be shown on the top of msg.. hehe. And esp when he sends me sms when he's overseas.. it will just cheer me up instantly ! haha =D and when I miss him, I can just spend my time reading those sms from him... =) and it's the same as wad he would do when he miss me.. x) hee

can't wait to see him.. =)

took this blogskin from blogskins.com.. =) I like it Simple. ..just like how the codes are arranged.. neat and clear..easier for me to modify. hehe. 'cause before this, I was trying to change the images and layout of another blogskin I found.. but the codes were kinda complicated.. because of the many font styles, images and stuffs all over.. So I decided to give it up =P haha..

I'm using my lunch time now to edit the template and to blog.. =P gotta go bac to work ~ Will update again soon...

I'm Missing dear so much.. he should have reached Korea by now..? Weather in Seoul is bad. at -3 deg cel. which is Super cold !! and wind chill at -7 *freezing.. x . x
